Although Pat Schmidt, President of Pro Tem Legal Services, has recently retired and is no longer directly hiring, she can still help you find work.
If you are a former employee of Pro Tem, she can arrange for an expedited hiring process with our corporate affiliate, TLC Staffing. Just call her and she will forward your resume, test scores, and a brief bio to them. All they will require to complete their hiring process is completion of their application, a brief interview and completion of an I-9 form.

About Pat Schmidt
Pat Schmidt founded Pro Tem Legal Services in 1979. She’s been a hands-on manager who’s done every job in the business. Before starting Pro Tem, she spent over ten years working as a legal secretary. Pat is a past president of the San Diego Legal Secretaries Association and of the San Diego Chapter of the California Association of Temporary and Staffing Services; she is a California Accredited Consultant and a Certified Staffing Professional, an American Staffing Association certification.

Established in 1985, TLC Staffing is also locally owned and operated, and the people there share the same values as those at Pro Tem Legal Services. It's for this reason that Pat has chosen to partner with them so she can continue to serve San Diego's legal community.
